I have so much to be thankful for but I will start by saying thank you to my beautiful family, friends and clients for believing in me this year and allowing me the honor of being in your lives. It has been a wonderful yet challenging year for me and I know I wouldn't be where I am today without each of you.

As this Thanksgiving comes and goes, let’s be determined to not let our spirit of thankfulness leave with it. I challenge each of you to make a list of the people/things that you can be thankful for all year long. Keep your list somewhere you can see it and be reminded of your blessings daily. I am thankful for you.

You are an amazingly beautiful, gifted and inspiring woman. There are truly not enough words to describe the greatness that you are and today is one of those days I wish I could be with you to hug and celebrate you in person. But since I can't, I guess some photos and a little bloggity blog will have to do for now. I just wanted to say I love you and that you have changed my life and made me a better woman, photographer and friend by being you.

Today is the day that God thought of you and how your presence, heart and love would change this world :) The day he put his breath into you and called you His. What a perfect day and what a perfect God for creating you. This day is also a day you get to begin again. Run faster, live more alive, dance like nobody is watching and sing at the top of your lungs with the windows down cruzing on the Kona side. It's the day you get to start making the incredible dreams in your heart a reality and turning them into written plans that your eyes and heart can see. Every ending is the start of a beautiful new beginning. So as you step into this new year of your fabulous life, take a step back or a moment to yourself to take it all in. All it's beauty, all it's promise and all of it's exciting opportunity for you to grow and become even more lovely that you are right now. The best is yet to come my precious sister and with God all things are possible. I am so thankful for our reunion this year. The moments of laughter, days of dreaming and the joy of simply celebrating life... together. God's timing is so perfect and being around you awakened my heart and challenged me to stop stressing and just enjoy the journey. Engagement Session in Stillwater, Minnesota

Mike and Abby are two of a kind. They see the world and appreciate the beauty of it in such a fun and unique way.

Mike looks at Abby with so much love and value. He's sees his counter part in her. Someone who brings out the best in him. Love happens when we least expect it and for these to it was there from the beginning. That special someone you know you can't live without.

Abby is a stunning woman inside and out. Her kindness, beauty and appreciation for Mike is amazing. She is funny and pretty much the sweetest woman you could imagine. Her love for life and for Mike is written all over her face. A face of joy and heart full of love.

David and Hillary's love for each other is effortless. From the very beginning of the shoot their flawless chemistry was undeniable. They were perfectly in sync as they walked and enjoyed each moment taking each other in. I couldn't have felt more blessed to have been the one photographing such a incredible couple. We had a blast exploring the beauty of Duluth. There is something magical about having your engagement session where it all started...

David and Hillary met in their freshman year of college at UMD. David's confidence stood out to Hillary from the beginning and they have been inseparateable ever since...

David is a joyful and loving guy. His positive attitude and energy are contagious and so fun to be around. He is an intentional guy who will make a wonderful husband to Hillary. He said he fell in love with Hillary's kindess and ability to balance him out and make him a better person. I believe that when a man knows what he wants when he finds it ; he doesn't hesitate in protecting it. David has done this with Hillary in the most beautiful way. Their story melts my heart.

I've had the honor of watching Hillary grow up so the day that she contacted me about wedding photography was a day I'll never forget. The flash backs to this sweet little girl knocking on my parents door to see if we could come outside to play was now a vibrant and ridiculously stunning young woman knocking on our door to discuss her big day and introduce us to the man of her dreams.

Hillary is just as David described one the most kind and genuine people out there. Her sweetness melts your heart and her smile is captivating. My excitement was through the roof and after meeting David, I was blown away by how perfectly they compliment each other.

Luke and Lydia Married:: Bayfield, Wisconsin

Lydia sat peacefully working on the finishing touches for her day with her bridesmaids by her side. The day that she had been dreaming about and planning for was finally here and she was ready. The Lydia and Luke touch was on every detail of the day and it was perfect. The sun was shining, Luke was beyond excited to get the first glimpse of his fabulous bride and see their vision come full circle in front of all of their beautiful family and friends. The vision they had for their big day was pure brilliance and something unique I had never seen before.

Luke and Lydia planned a beautiful sunset wedding. It was truly storybook from start to finish. Witnessing the joy in their eyes as Lydia made her way down the dock in her fabulous Marchesa gown was spectacular. She walked confidently towards her future and couldn't wait for it to start. Lydia was absolutely radiant from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. She sparkled! And Luke was taken by his equisite bride to be as he stood their offering his hand and strength to her once again. As their family and friends surrounded them on every corner they said yes to forever and to living this life to the fullest ...together.

The day was a labor of love and this couple had their touch on every detail from the start to finish. That made the setting both special and very intimate. They had a clear vision and went for it. A vision of a day that reflected their style and love story perfectly. A day they could celebrate and share it with the people that mean the most to them in their lives. The setting was set and these two were beyond ready to be standing there taking in all in and it was beautiful.

Erin had the most radiant glow about her and could not wait to marry the man of her dreams. The man who steps in to rescue her from the craziness of life by providing strong arms to run to. You can see she feels at home with Greg. She walked toward her future with complete confidence freely extending the beauty the Lord has placed in her to share only with Greg. Their day was finally here and it was amazing.

Minnesota Love: Jeff+Tash

My heart skipped a beat when I found out that I would have the fabulous opportunity to document the love between these two people. They are full of joy and just adore being together. You can tell they have not only found love, but deep friendship in each other. A friendship that allows them the space to be just who they are and the freedom to shine as a couple and as individuals. I can see these two sipping on hot cocoa when they are 80 chatting about all the wonderful memories and adventures they have shared together. And the love they have experienced every step of the way. Everyone patiently awaited to see how the day would unfold. With a forecast of rain on the way and snow just a few weeks ago it was hard to keep up. People joked and said Minnesota decided to go ahead and just skip Spring all together. The wedding party hoped and prayed for a beautiful day and our prayers were answered with the most perfect day. Jenny was graceful and beyond captivating and Jim was right beside her in every moment that floated by, neither of them wanting the celebration to end. They were both beaming because today was the day they got to marry their best friend and say I do to spending their lives together and living every moment to the fullest.

Jim and Jenny are two of the most genuine souls I have ever met. They are genuine in everything they do. How they love, how they celebrate life and how they give. Give of themselves to each other and their beautiful family and friends. You literally leave their presence feeling like you are walking on sunshine. They sparkle with joy and freely shine it into the lives of others.

Jim's laughter warms the heart and spreads happiness and sincere appreciation for people wherever he goes. He loves deeply and brings out the best in other people. It's sessions like this I have to pinch myself to see if what's happening is real. Living your passions in new places is something that never gets old to me. I love experiencing the beauty of life in California and feel so blessed to be here.

This couple is spectacular. Their joy and willingness to allow my creativity and gifts to come through the shoot was a fantastic collaboration for the day. Despite the uncertain weather, we took it all in. The sounds of the ocean, the glorious cliffs and gentle breezes. I was in love with love in California.

I am proud to officially announce CCH Photography is expanding! It has been a dream and vision of mine since the inception of my business to be a multi-location based photography company. I am beyond thrilled to say that my dreams are coming true and CCH Photography will now be based out of Minnesota and California in 2011.

This is quite the leap of faith for me, but I was gently reminded from a friend that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. And today I am choosing to do just that. Believe. Believe in myself and this incredible business God has so graciously given me. I am so blessed to be able to do something I love everyday and share both my heart, passion and gifts through the art of photography.

I hope that my journey will encourage all of you reading this to do what you love, follow your passion and live for something bigger than yourself. You each were born for greatness and there is greatness awaiting each of you. So I dare you to step out and experience it everyday. You are a masterpiece and there is no one like you. No one. Jim and Jenny E-Session!

The day started and ended with overflowing laughter. The best kind of laughter is the kind that fills your soul and leaves you begging for more. It's people like these two who make the world a brighter and happier place to be in. Their joy and happiness together is contagious. They remind me to enjoy every moment of joy and wonder in this life.

Jenny walked gracefully hand in hand with the man who captured her heart and attention. You could tell she felt like the luckiest girl in the world since this man will not only be her best friend, but soon will be her's forever. And forever love doesn't come around everyday. Jenny is exquisite and in the arms of Jim she feels safe and at home. It is a beautiful display of genuine love. The kind of love that lets you be you with no explanation. The way you can look at someone and they know exactly how to love you and care for you in that moment.

Jim is one of the funniest and sweetest guys around. He literally had Jenny and I laughing the entire shoot. It was a blast. You can tell that he looks at life like the glass is always half full. A man who is full of life, confident, considerate and a complete joy to be around. He is sincere and intentional with the way he excepts and loves others. There is never a dull moment with him. His sense of humor is fabulous and has the power to light up every room he enters. When Jenny is by his side he grins ear to ear and the light in his eyes gets even brighter. She is it for him and it is beautiful to see them project the feelings in their hearts out to the world.

Luke reminds Lydia she only has two hands, but together they have four and he is there to share the burdens and hardships life may throw at them. He is there to help her find balance and peace. The bride sat peacefully as she watched the day that she had waited patiently for unfold before her. Her groom smiled at the thought of seeing his bride and could not wait to start their life together. They were beyond perfect for each other.

Joy is captivating. She has the most beautiful spirit that sparkles miles away. Literally. Your life is instantly brighter when you are near her. Destiny is such a magical thing. Some people find love at a very young age and it matures into something divine over the years. This is what happened for these two amazing people. The romance and tenderness of this day made it so easy to document the love story happening right before my eyes.

The bride was breathtaking and at any second could be brought to tears by the reality of her dreams coming true. I felt so honored to witness such beauty unfolding before my lens. It was magnificent. Her groom was light hearted and so excited to finally make his princess his wife. He had been the man of her dreams since high school, but is now much more.

They took it all in. All the love, emotion and joy of the celebration of this next chapter of their life together. There are these moments during each E-Session that catch me off guard because they are so beautiful. I feel honored and deeply privileged to be the one chosen to document such moments. Now for a little insider’s look of this fabulous couple.

Jason has a fantastic sense of humor and the most genuine heart around. It was fun letting him lead us through the park to find perfect locations for the shoot. Jason loves the fact he can be himself around Joy and talk to her about everything. She makes him better in every way and when they are together you can see an example of what God's best looks like for us. It is breathtakingly beautiful!

Joy is a precious woman. Her spirit draws you in and brings light to your darkness. It is unreal! My heart was inspired by her love for Jason. She adores the man, both strengths and weaknesses and believes in him 110%. Watching her hug him and laugh with him moved me, because I know the power of their relationship and love story will encourage many along the way. I can't wait to see them embrace each other on their wedding day in October. It is going to be magical!

Summer Lovin': Greg & Erin

This special couple reminded me how much I believe in love and marriage. What it means, what it represents and the fact that we have the divine privilege and huge responsibility of choosing our forever with someone. Photographing Greg and Erin was a complete delight. They did their homework by finding locations that fit them perfectly and reflected who they are together. I was a 110% onboard because I love it when the couple is excited and in an environment that allows the playful, romantic, and tender sides to shine through. It is beautiful.

Now a little about these two...

Greg is one of those people you meet and immediately feel comfortable with. It is refreshing to see such genuine character and leadership. Watching him immediately sweep Erin off her feet at the beginning of the session spoke loudly to me about his confidence and strength. It revealed he is a rescuer at heart. A true prince that will love Erin deeply and protect her with every facet of his being for the rest of her life. I feel both blessed and completely honored to know him.

Erin is a one in a million type person. She literally sparkles from the inside out. Erin is captivating and invites others to peace from the first time you meet her. She spurs others on to greatness and has the most encouraging spirit. I can see this with how she strengthens Greg and encourages him to pursue after his dreams with all he is. They sure make one unstoppable team. It is powerful to see when someone truly and genuinely believes in you, there is really no limit to what you can do!

NHL Draft, 19th Pick: Florida Panthers Select Nick Bjugstad...

A huge Congratulations to Nick Bjugstad!

He was the first High School player to go in the 2010 NHL draft. That is a pretty incredible honor and if you ask me they could not have picked a better player and person to take the spot. Nick is probably one of the most genuine guys you could ever meet. He is driven, yet humble, extremely talented, yet a team player and most of all a great leader amongst his friends both on and off the ice. I had the great honor and privilege of watching Nick grow up on the ice and also got to know his incredible family aka his biggest fans over the years. The joy and support system behind Nick is literally immeasurable and I will continue to watch him succeed and follow his dreams on the ice next year at the U of M! Go Gophers!

Simply put this couple is an example of what a relationship should look like. It was beautiful to hear these two talk about what they value most in each other and how they offer their unique strengths to each other everyday in little or big ways. They are the perfect compliment to one another. Their tender fondness and sweet affections for each other made my job a pure delight. The way they interacted the entire shoot from start to finish spoke volumes to who they are and what they will soon represent to this world as a beautiful married couple. They give glorious hope to a dark world looking for genuine love and authentic relationships.

Brent is a strong and confident leader and makes you feel of great value and divine purpose when your around him. I believe that is the making for one incredible husband for his bride to be. He is someone who speaks truth and life into others in an extremely powerful way. Not to mention he is funny, kind and thoughtful. He is absolutely captivated by Alyssa and when they laugh together they light up the world. It is a spectacular sight and pure blessing to encounter. I love that about them. I felt an enormous amount of happiness in my heart and inspiration in my spirit during their session and couldn't wait to get home and look at the sweet images from the day. They are brilliant together!

Alyssa is exquisite and her gorgeous expressions were so much fun to document. She will make a remarkable bride. Not just because she is beautiful, but because she sparkles from the inside out. Their is a light in her eyes and kindness in her smile that draws you into peace and genuine love. It is fantastic! Watching her melt into her future husband's arms was extraordinary! She adores Brent with everything that she is and doesn't take a second with him for granted. I hope this never changes for them. She leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked together as if nothing else mattered in the world but what was going on right there in that moment...their moment. It was absolutely breathtaking to witness and be able to document real and completely unaltered love behind my lens during the course of this beautiful shoot. It's those type of moments that God reminds me again that this is what I was born to do and how very blessed I am to do it.

Jeremy and Elise are so close to my heart as they are very dear friends of mine. Jeremy is like a brother to me and it is people like him that have pushed me, encouraged me and blessed me beyond measure as I have pursued my passions and dreams in both life and my photography. Elise is for sure the perfect compliment to him and I am blown away by her love for Jeremy and her genuine beauty that shines bright from the inside out.

She is basically in a nut shell the perfect woman for Jeremy. It was so much fun to watch their love spill out over this world and see how they couldn't wait to be in each others arms in every shot. Elise is equisite and truly sparkled in Jeremy's arms. She is a woman who invites others to peace and love every second you're with her. Who are you going to invest in?

I want to remember today because I feel something new coming for my life and my business. I am excited for the new adventures ahead and new friendships to come as I continue to network in my community and beyond. The social networking world is SO ENORMOUS and completely OVERWHELMING at times but I feel like it can be a life giving opportunity for me if I look at it as a one step at time process. This is why I have decided to focus on investing in others as much as I can in 2010 and build a team of life giving people who desire to have genuine friendships and encouragement to walk through this life in both the photography industry and life in general. Because I personally would rather have a few people who really want the best for me behind me than a thousand who kinda do. We are not to neglect what God has blessed us with in this life... so today I am writing to remind myself of just that and be in an attitude of thankfulness towards God for the incredible friends and support system I have today and will continue to fight for tomorrow. People are SO worth fighting for and investing in. So my question for you is who are you going to invest in this year? Just a few thoughts from me ha ha. The bride was glowing and handled the day like a pro. I mean, Carrie was a total ROCKSTAR Bride and I couldn't wait to see her beautifully styled Wedding day unfold. Her personality and flair was everywhere you looked. She was taking it all in and not letting a moment of the joy slip by without grabbing hold of it and letting it sink in. Her bridesmaids were lovely and couldn't be happier to watch her marry her best friend. Carrie is a woman who is comfortable in her own skin and someone who makes others feel beautiful in theirs. She loves with everything she is and has unwavering faith in the people in her life. That is why I feel so honored to be the one she put her faith into to document one of those most fabulous and precious days of her and her new husband's life. A day that changes everything and starts something entirely new. A journey as husband and wife that will be filled with more love, adventure and beauty than they can imagine. A journey of two souls recognizing the gifts and talents in one another that will be the components that will build their future together. Dan has a hilarious sense of humor and can really pull out the best in everyone. He allows others the space to come alive and laugh till their stomach aches. He is strong, driven and ready to take on the world. His ability to strengthen Carrie and encourage her gifts gives her the freedom to dream, grow and be the woman that she was created to be. Happy Valentine's Day...Mr. and Mrs. Flahave!

God has the most beautiful way of guiding us to beauty and if there is one word that captures this day it would have to be heavenly. The trees were covered with snow and the crisp winter air wooed everyone. It was as if a blanket of love and protection from above had come down to bless Matt and Heather's day. Heather sat completely at peace as she prepared for a day that would change everything, a day that would seal this amazing love and happiness she feels in her heart for her future husband Matt. She was absolutely stunning. From the top of her head to the tips of her toes she sparkled. As, Matt saw his future wife for the first time you could see him melt as he fully embraced her with complete awe and delight. Their universe was as it should be in that moment. It was finally here a day that both of them had been waiting for in great joy and anticipation. These two beautiful people compliment and strengthen each other in such a pure and honest way. A way that is mature and so deep. Heather is a strong and compassionate woman who knows what she wants and isn't willing to settle for anything but God's utmost highest for her life. I admire that so much in her because I can see without a shadow of doubt that Matt is just that and so much more for her. I pray that she will carry that over into their life together so that she and Matt will never settle for anything less than God's best in their marriage. Matt has a tender heart and endearing spirit that just invites you in. You feel of high value and of great importance within seconds of meeting him. I was blessed to get to know him and witness his leadership and love for both Heather and their families. Their insanely cool and extremely genuine families made this Wedding, a divine celebration from start to finish. I am still in awe and feel so blessed to have been there to document such love and beauty. There is something so special going on in each of these families and the support, love and value they place for one another is spectacular...something the world could use more of. My heart is so full and happy today as I sit and remember what a wonderful celebration this Wedding was from start to finish. The love, unity, and beautiful support in and through each of their families was unique and completely inspiring to be around. I am so thankful that I was the chosen photographer to document the day and all of it's beauty. I also am amazed at how intentional God is with us when it comes to the relationships he provides for us in our lives. Miss Brooklynn is quite possibly the sweetest dog in the world.

Definition of a soulmate: a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner.

That is truly what these two are. They inspire and challenge each other in such a unique and special way. A way that only some experience in this life and the rest just dream about. Dan believes in Carrie and Carrie believes in Dan. They push each other towards their goals and encourage one another to be the best individuals they can be. Pauline and Bryan are a fabulous couple. I had so much fun documenting the incredible love of these two. They are beyond smitten with one another and so excited to be married next year. The tenderness of their smiles and the genuine love and respect in their eyes would make any on looker believe in the power of love again. I was truly amazed by who God is as I documented their love behind my lens. I have had the divine privilege of seeing their relationship grow over the years and become all that it is today. These two beautiful people fell for each other a long time ago and it is amazing to see how their journey has not only brought them together but has kept them together from high school and now into their young adult years. Their relationship is rock solid and nothing can stop them when they are together. I believe that together they will chase the dreams in their hearts, build a safe and loving home and love each other unconditionally with deep respect and genuine compassion. If you have had the privilege of knowing Andrea you would know that she is a woman who invites others to the truest and most purest form of peace and beauty that we can experience in this life. You can't help but feel lighter and better when you are around her. In her Dad's words you are suppose to marry someone who makes you better and both Pete and Andrea do that for one another. Pete is a compassionate and loving man, who without a doubt will honor, respect and cherish Andrea to the fullest extent every day of their lives. Pete's genuine kindness and welcoming spirit has the ability to make you feel deeply appreciated, cared for and highly valued all at once. I am better for knowing both of them.

Matt and Heather's Engagement Session

The summer breeze rushed through her hair as she lovingly gazed into the man of her dreams eyes and the world was theirs for that moment because nothing else mattered. They had found each other and would never let that go. Matt and Heather have a beautiful love story and watching them tell it and laugh and smile sweetly at each other while they tell it, is beyond fabulous to experience. It made me love what I do even more than I did before I met them. The way these two special people adore one another is clear but there is an element of honor in this relationship which brings a certain tenderness and sweetness to them as a couple. I was absolutely taken by these two. You can see how Matt adores his bride to be by the way he looks into her eyes and holds onto her ever so tightly. The Beautiful McRae family has got my heart. I don't even know them but I know that God wants me to pray for them. Kate has a long road ahead but she has an incredible family to go with her. My beautiful sister graduated from Bethel in May! I am so proud of her and as I write tears are filling my eyes because this woman is someone who blesses my life everyday by making me laugh, reminding me of who I am and of course sharing her greatness with me day in and day out even when I don't deserve it. Seeing her basking in the joy of her success that day was so much fun. I don't know how she did it with the schedule she held the past 4 years but she managed to make me feel special by making sister time for me no matter what. I pray she catches up on some sleep this summer and is truly blessed for all her hard work.

My sister Megan is someone who loves me even when I borrow aka adopt her favorite shoes without asking ha ha. What can I say...she is a woman of class and great taste in shoes. I can't help myself ha ha. She is such an incredible person and watching her grow up into the beautiful woman she is today has been a divine privilege. Her heart for God and deep desire to truly value every person will definitely set her a part and make a huge difference in this world. Blessings to her as she makes her transistion into her full-time career as a Youth Pastor. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for her amazing life. I pray big things little sister. Life is something to celebrate and I have taken this week to celebrate the woman I am now and the woman I dream to be in the future. I am content but at the same time I know that God has plans that are bigger and far better than my wildest dreams in store for me. As I take a look back on this past year it has been filled with so many life-changing and wonderful moments that have changed, inspired and made me better than I was the year before. I laughed, I cried, I grew, I dreamed and I achieved goals that I had set for both myself and my business. I am truly blessed to be alive! I want to thank everyone who has loved, supported and encouraged me throughout this past year. I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today without all of you! I had the amazing honor of taking Amanda and Tony's engagement photos this week. Thank goodness for hugs, kisses and mittens! Holla! We shot part of the shoot outdoors in -5 degree weather...Brrr! But they braved it and we got some mystical winter wonderland shots in before we turned into human ice sculptures. Just kidding!

Amanda will always have a special place in my heart because we had some rockin' heart to heart chats floatin' on big black inner tubes on Eagle Lake in the summers. I was her youth counselor at Faith Haven summer camp when she was a little girl. Now, she is a beautiful young woman preparing to marry her prince in March. The one I'm sure we prayed for a time or two. And let me tell you, Tony is a true prince. The way he looked at Amanda during the shoot gave me an enormous sense of peace that this young woman will be loved, honored and protected for the rest of her life. Their joy is absolutely contagious! They are completely in love and enchanted by one another. I can't wait to see where their love brings them! I'm also excited because this lovely couple will be getting married in Hawaii or as I like to call it...my second home. It is the place where I came into the person I was called to be and the place I was further inspired to start up my own photography business. Hawaii changed my life and I know it will change theirs in more ways than they can imagine. It is one magical place! I know their wedding will be a truly fabulous day that reflects the incredible love they share!

Congratulations Marlene and Larry!

Fifty years ago on December 6, 1958 two souls committed their lives to one another and today they still gaze into each others eyes with the same tenderness and love of newlyweds. A little movie preview of their story...

Larry and Marlene both worked at the town theatre while in high school. Larry served the popcorn and Marlene worked the ticket booth. Amidst the delicious aroma of fresh popcorn and the busy lines of movie goers there was something magical going on... two incredibly special people were falling in love. These two young people were destined for big things and together would see the world and bless many others with their lives and story along the way. And so this tale continues...

Who says life isn't like the movies anyways?

This past weekend I had the great honor of photographing Marlene and Larry's 50th Wedding Anniversary. 50! Wooooweee and they still got it. Check out those pics! Marlene and Larry have a beautiful love story filled with romance, adventure, and a legacy of love that will continually bless their family for years to come. This couple has genuinely demonstrated how to serve and unconditionally love others to both their children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. To me that is one of the most important things to know and understand in this life not to mention celebrate.

Elijah and Jackie's Wedding

Elijah is one of the most genuine human beings and photographer I have ever known. He is kind, compassionate, creative and encouraging. Elijah is also a servant hearted man and brilliant leader. I know that I would not be where I am at today without his wisdom and encouragement over my life and photography. I am completely taken back by his incredible gifts and vision for his future with his beautiful new wife Jackie. Thank you Elijah from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to both capture and witness God's blessing over your life and marriage to Jackie! I am honored to know you.

Jackie is captivating in every way that a woman could be. She truly invites you to beauty and peace when you are with her and her joy is contagious. The confidence she has in God and Elijah as her husband has inspired me and reminded me again that God's timing is perfect and so worth waiting for in our lives. Her deep love for Elijah and excitement for their future together is incredible. It was a great honor and deep privilege to meet her. I can't wait to see what God has in store for them and their beautiful future as husband and wife.

Now for the actual wedding ha ha ha...

Their wedding was something right out of a fairy tale from start to finish. I guess that is what happens when you surrender the pen and let God write a beautiful love story for you and that special someone to share. I had to pinch myself at points of the day to make sure I was actually there witnessing such authentic beauty. When Elijah first saw Jackie his bride to be at their first look the sun peeked out from the clouds and shined it's brightest light on the two of them. In that moment I was in love. In love with the God of the universe who gives people like us moments like that. We are so undeserving yet by his grace he continues to shine his bright light all over us. I could see in the eyes and sweet embrace of Elijah and Jackie that their love story was everything they had ever hoped for and so much more. Congratulations Elijah and Jackie!

I also want to make sure to thank both of their wonderful families for allowing me to be a part of something so special. I have taken away a greater appreciation and vision for what it means to truly love and support each other within a family. May you all be richly blessed! Thanks again for everything!

And on top of all this I got to shoot the wedding along side my beautiful friend Chelsa. She is an amazing photographer and a one in 6 billion kind of friend. I am so thankful for her love, support and encouragement in my life and over my photography business. Thanks again Chels! You are my heart girl and it was a divine privilege to shoot with you again. Hey All!

This past week I was busy traveling and spending time with old friends and even making some new ones too! I feel so blessed to be able to travel and see the world in such a special way. My friends are treasures and I intend to celebrate life with them until we are old and gray. I was pretty stoked to spend the fourth of July somewhere new this year. I was actually on a beautiful bluff camping in Wyoming with some awesome people. The night sky was the blackest I've ever seen and you could see stars for miles. Our tent even had a screened in moon roof lol. Falling asleep with the stars above me was crazy and o so beautious. The rest of my time was spent in beautiful Denver, Colorado. What a cool place! Anyways, here is one of my favorite pics from the trip from Steve and Jerusha's wedding in Denver. I'll be posting more photos from that incredible day later. I had an incredible week up at Faith Haven Camp. The weather was absolutely beautiful and God showed up in amazing ways within the lives of the campers and staffers. To know your name was the theme for the week and it left me standing in awe of who God is in each of us. I felt I was able to know the name of the Lord through each of the beautiful people around me. I was also encouraged in my passion for photography and truly inspired by some of the campers who were stepping out in the creative gifts God has given them. Whoofda! I have had so much fun photographing The Beautiful Class of 2008 this year. Every shoot is unique because each individual is unique and I love that. I wish each of my awesome seniors nothing but the very best this life has to offer. May you each have the strength, courage and determination to chase your dreams! Hi Everyone!

I am like the worst blogger ever! I've never been the journaling type so please bare with me he he. I wanted to get a blog to keep you updated with the latest and greatest at CCH Photography but I am afraid I'm failing to keep up with it. Stick around awhile though and I just might get the hang of it.

I recently had the awesome opportunity to photograph a race car. Cheers to fast cars and freedom baby! It was a glorious day and the engine was roaring...I was fired up! The shoot went fabulous and I am currently flirting with the idea of going into the racing world jks but it would be neat to go to real nascar race someday. Anyone know Jeff Gordon? Hit me up if you do! Nah, Clay Wagamon (the driver) is the one to follow! He's an up and coming star for sure! Anyways, I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying the warmer weather. I will try and update this precious blog of mine more often. Thanks for stopping by!

The Blaine Bengal Boys Hockey Team is going to the State Tournament this Thursday!

Here is a photo that I took of the Seniors Boys this year. I had a blast photographing all of their fun and humorous personalities. Let me tell you one thing, they look good both on and off the ice! May their love of the game continue to grow and be re-fined as they graduate and go on from here.

Since this is my first blog and all, I better start off by introducing myself...

I am Chantel, the proud owner and main photographer of CCH Photography!! This business is such an adventure and I feel completely blessed to do what I love and love what I do every day. I would not be able to own my own business at 23 if it weren't for God's love and provision in my life. Life is a dance in which God knows every step and is willing to lead us, all we must do is follow Him. He, being the top man in my life, is the leader and I will trust His lead as He continues to reveal beauty in the dance. I must look to Him and listen to His direction to become the best dancer/person I can be. I have learned so much this past year and have taken a lot of new steps. To all I have met and will meet, you are treasures and I feel privileged to be able to see through my eyes and camera lens the amazing people that you are. Thank you and welcome to the CCH Photography Blog!

For starters, I must send out some shout outs to my lovely support team, even though I know, words do no justice to the love and gratitude in my heart~

God is first and foremost in all of this.

God, I am amazed by you and how you love me... every part. Your love is steadfast and you never give up on me. I praise you for knowing and loving the deepest parts of who I am. The truth you have spoken over me and my business is undeniable. Thank you for guiding me and this business the way you do. I would be nothing without you and pray that my life and my photography are pleasing to you first and foremost. I love you with all my heart!

To my Mom and Dad...

Thanks for believing in me and CCH Photography! Your love and support has truly carried me through so much and you both are constant reminders of God's goodness and faithfulness to me in this crazy life. Thank you for partnering with me in building this business, for the sacrifices and time you have invested in this dream of mine. You both are irreplaceable. I feel absolutely honored to call you my parents and I know that God knew what he was doing when He put us together. May you each be richly blessed! I love you!

To my amazing sister Megan...

You are my heart girl! I know that we are stronger together than we are apart in this beautifully broken journey we call life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't think you could ever possibly understand how much you inspire me and challenge me as a woman. When I look at you, I see beauty that radiates and brings light where there is darkness in this world. You are a treasure!! To my charming and handsome little brother Steffen...

You are a star!! And I don't just mean on the ice!! I mean in my life. You can make me laugh like none other and your big heart blows me away time and time again. I love the way that God surprises me through you! You are a true representation of perseverance and strength to me! I want only the best for you in everything. Your future is so bright it could blind my eyes. I probs should wear my sunglasses at your graduation this year! I pray for big things little bro! It has been amazing to be by your side as your dreams come true and have you by mine at the same time. Thank you for being there for me and believing in me the special way you do! I love you and am so proud of you!

To my ridiculously awesome friends and family...

It is amazing how the Lord touches the areas of my heart through the timely encouragement, love and support you all bring into my life. I am not quite sure where or who I would be without you and I hope I never find out. Thank you for believing in me and continually supporting me and my business. I love you all very much!!
